One of those "can't sleep" shots.Equipment: Sony a33 + 50mm f/1.8 Prime
Process: Adobe Photoshop CS5

It's rather simply really, I did this completely on my own but I suggest you have an assistant that drops the strawberry. You can have a tripod for this with a timer on your camera if you don't have an assistant.
I waited till it was dark outside so I could have the full lighting effect or if you have very good blind you can do it during the day. You'll need some sort of a backdrop, in my case it's white drawing paper with a light shinning from behind it. Then a mirror bellow the glass and a light illuminating either one side or both sides of the glass ( I suggest you diffuse this light with white paper as well). Since I freehanded this shot I had to take many photos with a fast shutter speed, so around 1/1000 sec or more depending if you want it quite sharp. Then just drop the strawberry and click your shutter, nothing much to it. Let me know if you have any other questions

Thank you, it was very hard to achieve with one hand holding the camera and the other dropping the strawberry on time
