I thought adding a search function may be a good idea for people with large galleries or groups.(I am not so good with the look but the idea is there)

This would be a helpful option.
I was searching for a piece in one of the groups I manage about a month ago that was not filed correctly by the Gallery Mod. It took about 30 minutes to go through each folder of submissions, when a search would have been most helpful.
At least to search by title since the deviations are not by the group.

Yes, very annoying if you are searching for something in a huge group gallery.

Please... I was just thinking about this last night. I'm happy someone posted this out there and from the comments i have been reading in here it seems that it might happen. I will be happy if it does. You don't know how helpful its going to be. =] thank you

Yeah, the only reason I decided to do it was because I needed to do this but couldn't find the search feature for groups. It would be good if this feature got implemented.

But maybe if this became an option that Group Admins could change in their preferences? If some groups don't want to be searchable they can be...just a thought, it would probably require alot of new coding...

We know we want an option, but that's only because some people have different preferences and thoughts. It was just the idea.

I think adding this as a widget to allow groups to add it would be a good idea. The search function would be great for groups that deal with stock, so if you needed something like water, you could just tap it into the search instead of searching through the group gallery.

Sorry, I didn't see any other suggestions of this type and was finding it a bit hard to search a groups gallery.
