Description When Tomorrow Comes
Inspiration Song - www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqxJ5o… Tomorrow - Daughter
Rose x Reader

Thunder cracked and lighting faintly touched the hills in the horizon. It was truly a storm, and not a surprise one. People had seen the clouds gather and turn their hues of purple and blue, it was obvious it was coming. It had now arrived, and was doing it's worse.
A young girl named Rose glanced outside, a storm raging. The weather was horrid, wind harshly whipping rain and tree branches. She knew the storm was coming too, just like everyone else. Well, everyone besides her mother. Mother was always confusing, due to being drunk a majority of the time.
She found herself sitting on the ledge of a large window in her mansion, letting the faint, grey light illuminate her knitting needles. Quietly, she continued her action of creating a scarf, which had been interrupted by a glance out the window. It was for her mother, a passive-aggressive act.
A meow quickly distracted the blonde as she looked over to see one of her mother's many cats. "Here, dear." Rose whispered, motioning the pitch black furball over. It followed, rubbing it's head against her hand. "Good girl." She smiled, petting the cat's smooth fur.
The kitten proceeded to jump up onto the ledge for more attention, now directly in front of Rose. Swiftly, she set aside her knitting tools and moved the kitten into her lap, adjusting the pink collar. "Now GiGi, you have to stop moving your tag to the back. What good will that do if you get out and about, and get lost?" Teasing her, Rose poked the single white splash on GiGi's chest. GiGi mewed in response, curling up into Rose's lap.
Rose nodded and pulled back out her knitting needles, right before cheeking the time. It was 4:13, the afternoon, close to evening. Around this time, John would be pestering her. As if forgetting something, Rose placed down her knitting needles again and pulled out her phone. There was no data, and the battery only had 41% left. Although she was a stickler for fully charged items, the power was out and no socket would work, all because of this storm.
She quietly picked up her distraction and continued forming the scarf, the only noises being the clinking of needles, rain, a clock, and purrs from GiGi. It was wonderful, really, all the noises joining as one. It was a comforting soundtrack.
Both her and GiGi shot up at the loud thunder crash, both surprised. Gigi quickly shot up and shot out, joining the other cats Mother owned in the action of hiding. Rose, however, calmed herself. It was just thunder, no need to be scared.
Checking the weather on her phone, the storm was said to last for several more hours, reaching tornado-warning worthy levels around... six. She let out an audioble sigh, finding herself no long interested in knitting. Maybe writing would help get through the lack of pesterchum or fanfictions, as she would still be writing something and inisiating conversation.
Rose climbed off her ledge and walked upstairs to her room, grabbing her notebook, pencils, and a sharpener, before heading back down. Under chairs and tables, she noted Mother's cats hiding from the storm, and gave each one a reassuring smile.
Climbing back onto her ledge, she opened to her most recent page. The subject of what she was writing was two wizards meeting and confessing their love for eachother, but where and when to set the scene was unclear. It needed to be dramatic but romantic, and the way to cause that was to change the weather.
Reading back, she noted her comment in earlier pages of clouds swirling. Perhaps a storm could cause one of the boys to be lost in it, and finding the other's castle. Yes. She made a quick scribble of that in a smaller, built-in notepad, excited. The words then became natural.
'Elifif sat by the fire, smoking a small pipe. The smoke swirled from the tip to the roof as his emerald eyes watched. He found himself forced inside from his normal trip to town due to a raging storm, leaving him to lit a small fire and staying in his rocking chair.
He was outraged, why was it on this day he needed a book on weather protection! The one spell he lacked on his mind was the one he could use to most to get that spell! How unfair of the gods to curse him like this.
His mind floated, much like the pipe  smoke, to another part. He recounted his equal, a handsome, much more energetic wizard named Filent. He had known him only for a couple moons, but felt close to him. More than a best friend, perhaps, as he felt his face rush.
Placing down his pipe, he recounted the time he walked in on Filent changing in his own room. It was quite an embarrassing event.
Thunder blasted down, causing another wave of rain to hit the windows and walls. This didn't distract Elifif, but in fact it was the '
Knocking at the door. Rose looked up, surprised that the action she was just about to write happened in real life. Perhaps Mother had forgotten the keys once... No, Rose had made sure to give them to her.
Then it must be a visitor, but who could it be? Out in this weather? Curiousity got the best of her, plus the worry of someone being out in the rain, and she climbed off the ledge once again.
Instead of going to her room like she had the last time she placed herself off of the ledge, Rose made her way to the front door. Her notebook was clutched under her arm, pencil in hand. Pencilkind would work as a weapon for now.
Using her free hand, she opened the door quietly. She posed in a way to appear threatening, the pencil sharp and ready to stab any intruder-
Oh, it was a girl. She was in a defensive stance, clothing and hair clinging to her. Rose lowered her pencil as to calm the girl, and gave her a quick scan over before inviting her in. She had [H/L], [H/C] hair that clung to her face, flawless skin, and was wearing a simple [F/C] t-shirt and [F/B].
Rose quickly gathered herself from the sight, placing her pencil in her back pocket before offering the girl her hand. "Do you need some help?"
The previously uninvited guest, now invited, blinked and took Rose's hand. Rose couldn't help but note how soft her guest's skin was, almost silk. She gently pulled the girl inside, out of the rain, and closed the door.
"Hello." With the hand she gripped her guest, she shook it. "Rose Lalonde, I am sorry for not introducing myself the moment I saw you, and also threatening to stab you with my pencil." She couldn't help but giggle at the last part, her black lips curling into a smile.
"It's fine, to be honest, I should've expected that! My name is [F/N] [L/N], if we're being so formal to introduce our last names as well." [F/N]... what a beautiful name.
Rose nodded, laughing. "Oh well, it seems you have a need to dry off, and I have the means to help. Please sit down." She motioned to a couch, along with the ledge. "The ledge is my personal favorite."
"Cat like." [F/N] laughed. How could a laugh be that pretty?
"I am aware of that. Now I will bring you a towel and a spare of clothes, and then perhaps some tea?"
"Yes please." Rose watched as [F/N] climbed up the ledge, and then headed off to her bedroom.
She thought back to [F/N]'s body. How perfect it was, how curved. She prayed she had clothes to fit a beauty like her. Once reaching her room and her closet, Rose was in a bit of a frenzy. None of her clothes seemed to be like her! Maybe... Maybe something in the back?
Reaching back, she grabbed onto an old dress she never wore. It was golden, with a [F/C] belt, and a Light symbol in the center. It would fit [F/N] perfectly.
She happily popped into the bathroom and grabbed a towel, then practically slid down the steps to see [F/N] resting where she had been only minutes before. The pale light lit up her features, highlighting each wonderful thing. Was this what is was like to be in love? Like how Rose had written it? Hopelessly picking out wonderful things about someone, wondeirng if they looked at you and did the exact same thing?
"Excuse me, [F/N], I have brought you a towel and dress. I will leave them here and go prepare some tea, as not to interrupt your changing." Rose folded the dress and placed it down with the already folded towel.
She looked up to see [F/N] smiling at her, climbing down. "Oh thank you! This means a lot, you didn't have to." Her eyes were [E/C]. How had Rose not noticed that before? It matched the rest of [F/N] so well.  She watched as the beauty took the clothes oh so carefully, and turned her back away from [F/N].
She made her way to the kitchen, placing a kettle on the stove and boiling water. The stove wasn't electric, surprisingly, and could be lit if the pilot light was activated. That is how she managed to boil water.
Rose was tempted to peek at the beautiful guest as she changed, to see how another woman's body looked. But she fought against it, shutting her eyes and focusing on the rain. Oh, she should be finished by now, and the water hadn't boiled. But to be safe, once counting to ten, she would look in. If the kettle went off, then she wouldn't. Simple.
   One...
   Two...
   Three...
   Four...
   Five...
And so on until ten. The kettle didn't go off, so Rose peeked around the corner. There [F/N] was, wearing the dress. It followed her body perfectly, the ribbon as a belt showing off where her waist was. Rose was pleased but disappointed, and quickly went back into the kitchen.
The time was 5:02, although it seemed later. The center of the storm was hitting as the kettle went off.  The rooms suddenly became hued with grey, it becoming darker. Rose quietly reached for a tea-bag and proper cup, pouring out the water. "Are you alright in there?" She called to [F/N]
"Yes Rose, I'm fine! And this dress is perfect, I love it!" Rose smiled at the comment, relieved.
After the tea was done, Rose directed herself back to the front room and saw [F/N] sitting on the floor, GiGi in her lap. She smiled and sat down across from her guest, watching as she comforted the scared kitten.
Rose pushed over the small tea cup, taking a sip of her own. She watched as [F/N] took a sip as well, smiling. "Perfect."
"I'm glad you like it. How far is your home?"  She slowly moved herself to be directly next to [F/N], hoping to figure something out to make her stay a bit longer.
"...A couple miles. I got dropped off at the park, [Guardian] is at work, or doing something, and they expect me to walk back on my own. But it's raining, and who knows where they are, so I found the closest place."
   "Which was my home?"
"Yep! I'll call them when the phonelines aren't out." She took another sip, petting GiGi.
"...Perhaps, I know this is an odd suggestion, but you could spend the night?" Rose felt herself blush, but gave the offer as straight as she could. She looked up as [F/N] perked up, smiling. "You wouldn't mind?" There was joy lining her sweet voice. "No, I don't. There is a spare bed in my room, you may sleep there."
"Yes please!" Rose smiled at [F/N]'s reaction, and noted how her hand was resting on the carpet. Reaching out carefully, she carefully took the beauty's soft hand in hers. "You are a joy, [F/N]." She smiled, speaking honestly.
'And I hope tomorrow never comes.'
