Y'Know, I'm starting to sense some Autobot Favouritisim in Prime. Is it really that hard to have a few Autobot Generics turn up to be killed by Megatron, Starscream or Soundwave? Why do the Cons have to die all the time?
I would love to see Megatron rip Smokescreen in half!
If word of Transformers Prime: Season 3 is true, let's hope a few members of the Autobot cast get killed off - just to balance things!

DAFUQ Y DO U WANT AUTOBOTS TO DIE. Like seriously we only seen like two major Decepticons die in the show (three if u include Starscream in the tv movie), and then like 80 Autobots died off XD. If TFP were to kill off any major characters if a 4th season were ever created, there would be a serious off balance in the cast.

Its funny how everyone shits on the RID 2015 Grimlock but no one even bats an eye at the 2001 incarnation like they donβt care that the 2001 version didnβt even try to look or act like Grimlock. THE FUCKER DIDNβT EVEN TURN INTO A DINOSAUR HOW DO YOU MESS THAT UP, RID 2001?!

RID 2001 Grimlock sucks ass and has nothing to do with Grimlock.
RID 2015 Grimlock is okay since he kinda goes back to his roots (i.e G1-like robot mode head, T-Rex mode, not very bright, loves to beat the shit out of Decepticons, possesses a playful personality akin to G1 Season 3 Grimlock). The RID 2015 is my fav incarnation right next to FoC Grimlock.
You gotta admit unlike the garbage βGrimlockβ that was in the 2001 show, the RID 2015 version at least tried.

Actually its been officially confirmed that FoC and RID Grimlock are two different Cybertronians. My guess is RID 2015 Grimlockβs probably a big fan of the original Grimlock so he named himself after Grimlock and adopted the same alternate mode to follow in FoC Grimlockβs footsteps. I think RID 2015 Grimlock isnβt as aggressive or powerful as FoC Grimlock simply due to the fact heβs just much younger (he might actually be a teenager like Strongarm and Sideswipe) and is less experienced in combat.

I personally like it because it doesnβt repeat what has been already established in Prime or other shows preceeding it. It doesnβt start over and go back to Transformers arriving to Earth to continue their century-old war. RID 2015 continues from where Prime basically left off without repeating any of the lore already established. For years weβve been getting the same βOptimus Prime vs Megatron/Cybertron has fallen/Autobots finding a new homeβ story over and over again and itβs getting really boring and repetitive. So seeing a new show where the war between the original Autobots and Decepticons has ended and creating a new story that focuses on Bumblebee leading a new squad of Autobots to face a hoard of angry criminals rather than once more focusing on Optimus Prime defeating Megatron for the gazillionth time is really refreshing.

Well, Paun down below said that Hasbro believe Autobot toys sell better, so they tend to get better treatment.
Personally, I can't help but to think the live action movies are to blame. They seemed to set a trend of the Autobots having fleshed out stories and personalities, whereas the Decepticons are just faceless generics that can be killed off at the drop of a hat.
Then again, maybe I let myself get spoilt by Transformers Animated and the High Moon Cybertron Games. With Animated portraying the Decepticons as an unstoppable force, and the Cybertron Games introducing Generic Autobot troops.

Well the cons always seem to have some advantage on the bots; first it was numbers and energon, then it was Dark Energon, then the Iacon database/artifacts. Having better soldiers is really the only advantage the Autobots have.
