You can help me expand this list of horror protagonists.But from my experience with playing these games, this is how brave the characters appear to be.Β
In order we have:
James - The Forest
Philip - Penumbra Series
Justine - Amnesia: Justine
Waylon - Outlast: Whistleblower
Miles - Outlast
Simon - Cry of Fear
Daniel - Amnesia: The Dark Decsent
More characters can be added in between any of these.

I honestly think he's a little bit braver than we give him credit for - He erased his memory, descended into a huge, dark, maze-like castle, faced his greatest phobia(s), and risked his life to do what he thought was the right thing to do.
That's pretty brave if you ask me.
I know I would never have the guts to do something like that! XD
Now, he may not be AS brave as some of these other guys, but Danny's still a trooper, IMO. LOL
