Description
A newly discovered species has been closely monitored. There have been numerous scientists killed by this psychotic, bi-polar beast during said studies, but it's worth it.

Though this creature has no eyes, it "sees" by echo-location. Since this is a land-bearing creature, sonic waves aren't as easy to pick up as it would be if it were underwater; thus is why it has such an enlarged mellon along the entirety of it's skull.

The bioluminecense in the mellon of the creatures head is a strange adoptation. What we know is that the bacterium in the bioluminesence reacts to the creatures moods and may also help to pick up sound waves and help "amplify" the vibrations inside the mellon. The biolumicence seems to be under control according to the creature's harmonal moods. Red for anger, blue for calm, yellow when courting, and the lights turn green when tired. When the creatures sleep, the lights fade into nothing.

The spines on the creatures neck and back are also used for expression, much like a cockatoo's head crest. When excited, angry, threatened, or alert, the spines are up, otherwise they lay down.

The creature has a very dinosauresque build, much like that of the raptors. The creatures can run well, and fairly fast (up to 25 MPH). With such elongated ankle bones, and more flexible hip-to-femur ball and socket joints, their strides can stretch much further in comparison to themselves than that of any raptor's. They also possess the ability to stand nearly upright, with their backs being more flexible as well. They're feet are quite large, and the walking-pad on the bottoms of the feet are quite squishy, enabling them to abosorb shock as they jump and run. Also, since they have been witnessed migrating through sandy, and marshy areas, their feet help with that kind of terrain as well.
