1 word came to my mind when I saw this:

Mondrian

He did some stuff similar to this just before the starts with his high-contrast-masking-tape-using-canvas haha..

anyway.. I'm not saying you might be copying his work.. but. well if you can do something that reminds mondrian.. what will you do in 5, 10, 15 years! I forbid you to stop!
