Maintaining the environmental controls on a Battleship can be fairly routine, but there are occasional moments of unexpected excitement.I think Environmental Engineering Officer Lieutenant Candace is about to figure out what's been clogging up the ventilation ducts in this sector.

The OctoPeople of Pelagius III don't get on with humans - their attempts to peacefully communicate (in this case asking Engineering Lt Candace if they could have a nice cup of tea) are always misinterpreted as 'gratuitous tentacle fondling', resulting in a state of war between the two species that could easily be resolved if the damn mammals would just listen.
Sci-Fi Duster looks very nice: her trademark visor suits the setting very well, probably giving sciency analysis or something. Her face expression is great: 'Hmm, something isn't quite right here, but I'm not sure wha...' *tentacle glomphing* You can never go wrong with pre-peril comedy
