Peppermint had always been the slow one of the group. Taking a bit too long to understand jokes and tricks and he needed to be explained game rules about 3 times before he got the basic gist of it. Due to this... not many Cyre's gave him the time of day most of the time. So Peppermint is often left out of games and other young childish things. Instead the child was left to his own devices. At the moment he was wandering the market, having been given his allowance he wanted to spend it! Granted he knew he had a tendency to get lost.. and didn't want to buy something he didn't like later. Peering into the different windows and shops, Peppermint found himself wondering exactly what he was looking for. Thats when his eye caught something similar to his pelt. An odd scarf of some sort with a mint assembled the thing together. It looked tacky to most and had been tossed in a bin labeled 'marked down'. Entering the store, Peppermint was quick to approach the bin and fish the garment out, running his paws over it in awe. Not long after, he had wandered to the clerk, paid and left with his brand new scarf and a new confidence.
