A simple concept I had before I restarted Daydream.

In November 1893, instead of being sentenced to death, José Rizal was instead placed on 15-30 years in prison. Andres Bonifacio's plan to break him out succeeds, although a bit later than expected.

With the Spaniards mostly out of the Philippines (yes the Spanish American War still happened), The Malolos Convention sees Rizal become the new leader; as Aguinaldo was seen as "too dictatorial". Under his leadership, the Philippines went under a major governmental reconstruction period that lasted until 1900.

The name was changed to the Kingdom of Malolos, and had become something of a Constitutional Monarchy with strong ties to Spain and England.

Today, Malolos is a Southeast Asian POWERHOUSE, with one of the highest standards of living in the region.
