I've been in a Brute mood lately...On the top is the Type-25 Carbine, more commonly known as the "Spiker," and on the bottom is a weapon of my own personal invention: the Type-25 Rifle, or "Spike Rifle." It's more powerful and has a higher range than the carbine variant, but its rate of fire is significantly lower and it isn't as accurate at close ranges.Related content

I don't think that the Spiker should be considered a carbine...too short to be a rifle of any sort. No...I think it fits more in line with a submachine gun in the hands of a Brute or Spartan.

It's classified as the Type-25 Carbine. Most likely because it's huge in the hands of a human.

Either way, I still think it's too small to be a carbine...I believe it should still be considered a submachine gun given what I can gather from the M4's length in comparison to it.
