Description
As soon as I saw this contest I knew I had to enter, I haven't played all of Lightning's games but I thought it would be really fun to try my hand at making an outfit for her! I wanted to go for something more modern but I also wanted to touch back on the feeling of some of the older games.
anyway, wish me luck!

I love the top half of your design. The goggles I feel in particular look awesome. The large scarf is awesome (reminds me of Vincent from ff VII) and I love your utility belt and suspenders.
I feel something alittle more practical for the pants though could have made this design truly spectacular. Ripped jeans? I just don't feel they fit the rest of your design. Something like grey military pants, with one leg cut off near the hip for a red stocking would have worked much better I feel.
However, it is your design. And I do like what you did with her hair.

I appreciate the suggestion but I think I'll stay with what I got. The silhouette is very important and I wanted something that emphasized her long legs and general figure. Ripped jeans may not be practical but it has appeared in her past designs so I figured it added to her spunkyness and the overall look I was going for.
