If you have not seen Steven Universe, I suggest you go watch the show first and come back to the comic, as the story will have many parallels to episodes to the cartoon. Not only that but put some of the dark side of the fandom aside, the show is really good and gorgeous so that's another selling point

Now ladies and gentleman, the most awkward page I ever had to draw! The only few panels that make up for the awkwardness is the cuteness of an indifferent Meowingtons, the cutie that is Julian, and the cameos of Julian and Meowingtons just walking to their main location. I know people will question what is up with the last panel, so let me explain: When discussing this AU in the beginning, I pitched the idea of having KiKi, Sour Cream, and Buck Dewey having the Studio Killers being their parallels. I didn't know if it would be approved or not, but when I was given Tori's story for the comic, I got my answer: yes :,). I had no idea how to draw Goldie Fox and Dyna Mink (whether to draw them human or animals??) so I went with the concept of they're humans who just wear animal masks to kind of hide their faces (the only person who has seen them without the masks is Cherry and that's about it). I hope I drew them to look good enough cause I feel like I drew Cherry wrong. Put me on the list of people who should not draw girls with lipstick on because I will never draw the lips right ; v ;. Now to wait until pages 11-15.
