Description
Wow. Been sitting on this for a while. This was the finished piece I did for huge Hulk fan, fellow artist, and totally decent human being Kevin Sharp.Commissions have been slow lately, so I'll be starting a new paitning sson enough. I'm thinking something classic... Green Goblin-ish. But old school, not that power ranger garbage they fed us in the movies.

It would have been great if his lower face wasn't missing.

When drop shadows become core shadows... that's just how they work.

Absolutely gorgeous! Great mix of colors, especially with the reflective colors of the warms. So much power in the textures alone. Very nice indeed. Your work just keeps getting better.

Thanks. It's the first Hulk I've painted so there are a few color choices I can make differently next time around. Yeah, it's water color and ink washes.

Thanks. Sat on it for a while trying to work out the kinks. But I guess it worked.

Don't be afraid of watercolors as a medium. I'd always heard how difficult they can be, but once I got into it, I found they can be just as forgiving. Giv'em a go. You might find out something new.

Holy smokes. I just this second posted this. Thanks for diggin' it. I have a lot to learn about fire from watercolors. I'm loking at NC Wyeth and ZL Feng for a better understanding.
I'm always looking for folks to learn from.

I never understood watercolours... they are too difficult to handle for me. But I'm always impressed when I see someone who can handle it! And you surely can!
