Progress!

Finally, something I'm proud to share. It took a long time to get a handle on realism and I'm still struggling with many aspects of it, but it's extremely rewarding. This is unfinished, but by Christmas it will be framed and on someone's wall.

This portrait was done entirely in black ballpoint pen. I'm sorry for the poor quality; this is just a snapshot taken with my iPhone, the only 'scanning' process available to me right now. It will be updated with a high quality version once I've completed the shading. (And the paper won't show up as yellow... couldn't figure out how to fix that on my iPhone. XD It's white, I swear!)
