Yet somehow you’ve achieved something so close it takes my breath away.

It’s difficult to put it into words, I will confess. Like a child trying to describe a sunset. You’ve achieved something so difficult and I have to ask myself, do you even know? Are you aware of the magnitude of your very presence?

You are exquisite, a waltz of serenity and grace. A forest full of lavender and wisteria. You are a celestial being, leaving gardens of rosemary and poppies in your wake. You, who dances on clouds, who is heavenly and good. You are ethereal. How can someone be so otherworldly?

Yet you are fierce. You are fire and volcanic ash. An explosion of passion and power. Unafraid to think and unafraid to feel. You are strong, like steel and diamonds. Full of wounding vines of roses, not without the venomous thorns. But they are elegant in their own respect. Are you conscious of your own greatness?

I adore you. I feel a love and compassion for my friend that is unmatched. A love that could conquer kingdoms. My friend who is not perfect. Who feels and hurts. Who sometimes is broken. But that doesn’t change what you are.
