There's a lot wrong in this picture: the poor quality, the darkness of the foreground and the overexposure at the back but I still find it interesting how you can see their differing personalities. And I think the scene itself has a lot of charm to it

The geiko reminds me of Sayoko, who was featured (but never named) in the not-so-great American documentary, Secrets of the Geisha, nar. by Susan Sarandon, so they might be in the same house.

I would prefer this one rather than the others.
Because I can see the relationship between them each other and the photographer. I can see interaction. And I can see the surroundings too which give me more information around the place.

I love this photo! I like it better than the one you say is your best... This one just shows so much more of a Giesha's environment than the other. Plus, I love the lighting in the background, and all of the lanterns... I feel like I've been transfered into Japan just looking at it. Wonderful job!! ^_^
