Just a simple pencilresting upon my palm
your not very complicated
but I have no qualms.
You let me draw
You let me write
You work all day
and through the night.
You are easily lost
And easily found
All you have to do
is look on the ground
To find a new pencil
to help when you're bored
For isn't the pencil
as strong as the sword?
'cause with a small pencil
with a stroke like a flick
Can give birth to a treasure
or destroy just as quick
That's why little pencil
I think your so grand
Although you just sit
In the palm of my hand.
