Description I finally finished coloring this, It would have been finished sooner, but there was a power outage for an entire day and it can get dark early in the winter.

Anyways, here is the finished result

Traditionally drawn and colored with Primacolor markers and coloring pencils.

Wow. Wow! All of the wow! I think this is your best piece yet! The color usage and level of detail are even better than your usual impressive skill, I must say.

I really love what you've done with the color scheme. The usual pleasing contrast of warm, autumnal colors and blue is present, but not overly blatant. Aside from various parts having base colors of one or the other (the tree boughs versus her eyes, for instance), it's fantastic how the highlights all glimmer with warm tones and the shadows shine with appealing, subtle blues. The mixing creates a lot of warm, rich grays which, together with the sky, form a stormy yet luminous color mood. It's divine. So much richness in the colors without hardly any glaring brights. A very mature and skillful use of color, for sure! The colors became a little dull and muddy around the edges of the foreground, but it doesn't detract too much from the overall awesomeness. Great job!

The ranger herself has a cool design, as well. While perhaps revealingly impractical when it comes to the torso, her accessories do look quite cool. I'm a fan of skillful use of asymmetry in character design, and you sprinkled nice touches of that into her accessories. Plus, her little lynx muzzle and cute pink nose came out well.

Your scenery is always amazing, but this one makes me particularly happy. Aside from the drop-dead gorgeous colors, I love the uniqueness and illustrative qualities of the path winding through the stone arches and the buildings poking out of the lush forest. From the darling mushrooms in the foreground to the impressive rocky heights of the distant mountains, everything looks wonderful. Again, fantastic job on the color mixing. Where the warms meet the cools, beautiful things happen because you went further than just putting them in proximity, proceeding to mix your own neutrals with them. The same scenery, while still as cleverly imagined, would not be nearly so striking otherwise.

Watching you is a joy. I shut up and now!

Aww thank you very much, I can say I had a lot of fun drawing and coloring this. I agree that the foreground could use a bit more work, this was the first time I blended markers and coloring pencils that much on a piece, it's definitively something that I need to practice on. Again, thank you very much for the lovely comments, they really help and motivate me into doing more art and trying new techniques.
