It is obvious, of course YES that melts your back. Doing both backbending and frontbending back melts more evenly and faster. That's why you see more improved and advanced.
Instead, just doing backbending melts only the lower part, and only when we bend it back, but the back melts more slowly and unevenly.
I'm a gymnast (Artistica), and in a more practical school of contortion.
