Description
This piece (not quite worthy of becoming a deviation) was sketched out perhaps 2-3 years ago. I believe this may be the first instance where I've illustrated a Hindu Deity, in this case, the God Ganesh/Ganesha . At the time period of this illustration I was taking a math course where we were discussing topology, and our textbook had a photograph of a Klein bottle , which is something like another take on the concept visualized by the Möbius strip except that a true version can only exist mathematically in the fourth dimension whereas the Möbius strip can exist in three. I thought that the Klein bottle which has no real inside or outside, symbolizing infinity, was appropriate for a God who is a remover of obstacles. The mediums include a blue ballpoint pen, highlighter markers, and colored pencils.

this piece is incredible!! i love the use of colours in this. i hope you'll be doing more Hindu art, because i've always liked their religious figures. they have awesome stories behind them, too. *stands, applauds* great job!

It's an interesting image, but there's no way it's worthy of becoming a DD - it's too unrefined and I'm not even sure if it's truly "finished."
But thank you for the thought
