Description So a few days ago I found out about the most unusual snake species... the Tentacled Snake, of Southeast Asia. A freshwater, fully aquatic snake with face-feelers that must live in water at all times, like an amphibian. And eats copious amounts of tiny fish. And has the most adorable funky-looking head. And has a long tail for a snake. And... is green. XD With algae growing on their scales. 

Therefore this Maranaga was conceived of. HE HAS A SCALED-TENTACLE MUSTACHE. XD That is both adorable and derpy as heck.

Ooh! They could! All one would need is to have those extremely keeled scales, a bit like this mustachioed fella's shoulders but all over.

And generally Maras imitate color and scale patterns of other species of snakes, so one with hairy bush viper scales is not only possible, but probable.
