Now this makes two oothecas placed in the garden for next year's horde of little teeny baby mantids. I've never managed to catch one of the mantis mommas in the process of making it though! She was just about finished when I discovered her on one of my poblano peppers.

XD Welp, guess I'm leaving that one's stalk in the row this winter. Maybe need to add a little extra fencing and mulch around the protect the eggies.
