came out a bit too negative than I intended.. which wasn't my intention.. got a headache and just came home :/
maybe you should've moved in closer as well.? ...anyways.. listen to me.. it's always easy to be smart afterwards and throw out a bunch of would'ves and should'ves.. it's a nice pic, be proud

interesting to say the least, though I'm unable to figure out how the hell you managed to capture water going in any other direction than from the source to the target.. it almost looks as if though there's streak of water from a hose from the left, with a whole bunch of white lines overlayed in odd patterns.. ?
it's nice, but if I were you (bare in mind that I ain't) I would've cropped off the flat white area to the left which distracts from the kid, and perhaps have tried shooting it from below, reinforcing the idea of freedom and strength, because as it is now it leaves a feeling of the kid being punished rather than enjoying a bath on a hot day.

The exposure (I think) on this is amazing. I like the strong contrast between the water and the asphalt/background. At first look, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. A kid playing in the sprinklers...in the rain? heh, regardless, it's a very captivating photograph. Congrats on the DD!!
