This was another pic I did about a month ago. I may fix it up a bit, probably make it look more original. I feel a bit down, seeing that the theme or look of this pic is actually similar looking to other pictures I came across, and I never realized it until later on.

I upload this today because today is the original release date of Diddy Kong Racing; at least in Japan, Europe, and Australia. It was released in the U. S. on the 24th. Released in 1997; 15 years ago. Some may have forgotten, or never heard of it, but it was the best and may still be for the N64.

Conker, along with Banjo, first appeared in Diddy Kong Racing game because, after their games were previewed and demoed at E3 1997 (June 19-21), Rare included the two characters in said game to promote their games being released. Conker's Quest and Banjo-Kazooie were schedule for a Holiday 1997 release, but Rare delayed them in favor of Diddy Kong Racing. The following year, 1998, Banjo-Kazooie was set to be released in June, while Conker's Quest (renamed to Twelve Tales: Conker 64) was set for a release in October. However, Twelve Tales ended up being delayed once again, due to people complaining about the game's friendly nature similar to Rare's other projects, so in 1999, Rare retooled Twelve Tales into an adult-themed game called Conker's Bad Fur Day, which was released in March 2001. Conker did got his first game, though, Conker's Pocket Tales, released in 1999 for the Game Boy/Game Boy Color.

Although Mario Kart 64 is my favorite and at the same time the best, Diddy Kong Racing has given many hours of entertainment and fun for those who played them. The truth is that it is a pity that no are makingΒ more gamesΒ for this saga when Rare was bought by Microsoft, that saga could accompany current games such as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, would have been a good rival.

: Characters from Rare, characters from Nintendo. Everything in a single and creative race game that marked my childhood times. Although, I not like and I'm not good with race games, but Diddy kong Racing is one of the rares because this game is Magic a lot!
Although being a classic pic, was nice at all! Good work!
