Hello there! Looking to get involved in gamedogs, eh?
Well, I wanted to give a brief guide where you learn the basics of gamedogs in general so you're in luck.

Choosing your breeds

Over at GameDogs-Registry we accept a wide variety of breeds.
Whilst pits bulls are particularly popular, there are many other types of breeds that were historically used for fighting.

Fighting Dog Breeds

Even if a breed hasn't been used for fighting and isn't on this list, as long as dog aggression isn't that uncommon we will likely accept it.

Groups to Utilize

This is a list of groups that accept gamedogs for registration and participation in certain activities.

Obtaining Dogs

You've picked out your breed(s)? Awesome! Now it's important to obtain dogs.

Obviously you can buy or design your own imports.
Imports are dogs with no DARPG heritage. Imports may have links to irl dog pedigrees but in gamedogs we don't count those towards dog stats because otherwise it would be super overpowered! Imports automatically have plain base stats in our fighting system.

You can also look for pedigreed dogs or pups.
Please keep in mind that many users in DARPG would prefer their puppies not be used for dog fighting so make sure you read all the rules prior to purchase! It also isn't bad to double check and ask if they can be used for fights prior to buying as well.
Depending on pedigree, a pedigreed pup may have better stats for fighting.

If you want the best odds of obtaining dogs suitable for fighting, you should probably join the GameDogs-Registry discord.

Learning About Fighting

To fight you can fight outside of the GameDogs-Registry discord server but we highly encourage you to join us.
