The best tips I can give are these!:
- Make an account where you feel you will be active: Furaffinity, Weasyl, and a few others are primary hubs for furries/furry art right now.
- Canines are always a popular species, but if you're struggling on a species, picking the animal you like most is always good.
- Submit art, and always answer comments, as well as leave random comments/compliments on people's work.
Honestly, the furry community is generally pretty accepting and friendly
