just enough of light and shadow to convey the figure without overdoing it. I like that the paper is still mostly there. The bit of colour in the cheeks is a nice touch! Love the sketchy feel of it

I really like this study, There's something about it that really just caught my eye. I think the light hitting the eye incredibly well done. I like the simplicity of your sketches, they have that finished quality while still managing to look like an actual drawing.

Thank you very much. I was feeling a bit nervous about the lighting. While I was sketching the light conditions were not good, I had to fudge a bit... well, a lot really. I'm glad it's convincing.
