Wow - did that without a guide? That's pretty good! I need something to work from - anything just done on its own never looks real the way an observation does. Love the emotion in it, and especially how you did eyes, and in/around the eyes. Beautifully drawn!

Yeah, I usually use a live person as a reference, but when I'm in one of my bad moods I'm not fit for human society. That is the only time I draw straight from my head. I tend to get more emotion in those drawings. The ones I do from life always feel very calm and sedate.
