Meet the North-Western Railways #36 engine: Daniel - A Blue Great Western Prairie Tank Engine. He was bought by the Railway in 1975 and resides at Vicarstown Yard, acting as its main shunter there. He can be a bit of a caring, honest sort, and a hard worker to match, but he's not exactly the most social type. Being committed to his work and he thinks he can do things all by himself and without help with the skill to back it up, though he can be extremely stubborn about it too. This can also make him secretly vain as he likes the attention this can bring of being one of the more capable shunters and has can caused him to overestimate his ability at times. When he has to work with other engines, this attitude can just make things more difficult in the yard.
