Thanks. I wanted to bring him back to his roots; a super powered guy that just wants to fight injustice, uphold honor, and basically help humanity. Less in your face patriotism, but more "yay humanity

Aye. That's what he used to be.
Mind you, he was also the kind of guy who would knock down a steel-reinforced door and make a joke about it. As well as leap from tall building to tall building WHILE carrying someone (and for the record, leaping apparently has a very different effect than flying upon the psyche of a passenger).

I like that Superman much better. I'd admire him if he still existed. I can imagine the leaping thing being scarier than actual flight.
I want him to be a blue-collar hero, that the factory workers in Metropolis can truly root for. They'd adopt him as their own champion: The Man of Steel.
