I'm still learning to use PSP and here is what I have been able to create, not much I know but I am hoping it is a step in the right towards being able to produce some real quality work.A huge thank you to

I don't know why, but for some reason I have the idea in my head that aliens have either no pupil, or a cat-like eye.

I'm learning as well, but I really liked the clear lines and how nice you did this manip. Personally, I think learning inside DA is better, because I want people to give me their opinions, how else do you learn if not by those who do work you inspire to?
This venue is not just for professional artists, but those who wish to learn from the professionals.

well, it doesnt look like you did a heck of a lot but shove the eye in...maybe you should experiment more? it'd be easier to crit...

As I said I am only very new to this, the idea behind it was to produce a neatly finish pice of work. Maybe Ishould come back to deviantart when I have a little more talent an know how to offer.

ack, im sorry! i didnt mean it to be offensive. it is a very neatly done piece of work, but myself, i like to comment on things that have been significantly altered from their original source. sorry, its a personal bias. but dont just leave deviantart because of me! see, now i feel crummy...

I didn't take offence, don't feel bad. I know exactly what you mean, the piece of work isn't much (hasn't had a lot of alterations) I just did it as something little while I am trying to learn some new techniques.
Never fear I am not going to leave DA because of you, all I was saying is that so much of the art here is so outstanding that I think I will wait until I can produce something decent, rather than submitting the pieces I create while I am learning.
Please don't feel bad... I'm not offended by your comment

oh, well, i feel better now, thanks. but i think you should still post, despite wether you think you're getting better. because having a gallery can sometimes be a big motivation, you know!
