Description
Long ago on a different Earth a woman with unmarked powers walked out of the water. Not one of the natives could detect what her magic held, but they were drawn to it. Everyone admired her because of her simple ways of living and thinking. Her name was Shao.
One night during a bizarre thunder storm, lightening hit the body of water that Shao had first appeared from. A blue stone of terrible power rose from the heart of the lake and shed a blue light upon the world.
Shao, claiming it was hers, walked onto the water and lifted her arms to grab the stone.
A man that had lost his magic long before cried out to Shao not to touch it, that it was a trap. Shao lowered her hands and froze the water so the man could walk up and explain.
Sudden anger poured out of the stone and the water unfroze. The man fell into the water and it froze over again.
Shao burst into tears at her mistake and fled. A goddess was reborn and an unnatural fire consumed the planet.
