Description
Summary: One had heard through others that an outsider had joined Kol in the spring. A wolf from the east. The little Adnos's curiosity is immediately caught by this - Skydas, the east, that was where he came from! Maybe he would remember the newcomer's face if he met them? Sure enough, one day when One was not on duty at Remiel he ran into the tawny stranger, Florence. The two had not met many times before One disappeared from Skydas, but One remembers Flo faintly just the same.

The two sit and talk for a while; shyly at first for One, who is nervous around strangers no matter how familiar they are - and One tells Florence about what it's like training to be an Adnos, and about his mother, Riikka, who found him and brought him to Kol after Endive chased him away. After they end up parting ways, One finds himself hoping to see Florence again - it feels nice to share something in common with another packmate.
