I think I have a theory as to why Amy's quills went from being just like Sonic's to sort of being like Knuckles'. It made her head easier to draw. But that's just me.ΒRelated content

That and I think they didn't want people to mistake her for Sonic's sister (which, to be honest, I'd rather she be than his girlfriend since I think it's cuter that way) as well as making her more mature.Β I think this look suits her very well.
