Here's a break from PAIN stuff. Because lately I've been fixating on Steven Universe alongside PAIN, which is an odd combo of fixations I must admit.

I had this drawing halfway finished since my last corruption drawings actually. I wanted to focus on lapis' water wings in the corruption, and so flying water manta rays felt like a strong choice.

corrupted Lapis Lazuli retain their strong affinity towards water, although their hydrokinesis would no longer be as strong or coordinated as it was pre-corruption. For one, they now have to be in contact with water to control it, where they are able to direct powerful currents or streams - as well as create massive waves, pulled up from the surface as they rise into the air (imagine them at the crest of the huge wave.) It is not recommended that you fight one in the water, unless you want to lose.

They can fly of course, but being out of water for prolonged periods of time will wither away their strength. They won't poof due to this, but they can become much more frail and much easier to capture in that state.
