I'm pretty sure Queen Wasp stole The Book of Clearsight and tried to eliminate the LeafWings because they wouldn't take her as their Queen, plus she controls and manipulates the SilkWings. Last time I checked Scarlet wasn't nearly as despicable, but still was pretty awful.

true that. I agree Queen Wasp is somehow a bit more over the top, than Scarlet.
But I think it's a nice "touch" in the story that everything a NightWing touches to make "the world a better place", ended up worster than before. (even if they didn't have bad intentions in the first way)
I'm curious, if Clearsight saw that her grand-grand-grand children will oppress other races? First I thought she could only see what happens during her lifetime, but it is stated that the book is filled with knowledge for the next thousand years : /
Clearsight stated herself that she will protect her children at all costs, so maybe she was too biased over her children to see the catastrophy coming.

Alot of questions! I hope they get answered in the books

I'm wondering if even the HiveWings are related to Clearsight at all, which is why I brought up the idea of them stealing the book.

(SilkWings never having black could've easily been cancelled out by breeding with Silks not related to Clearsight.)

But then someone else pointed out how the entirety of the HiveWings could be related to Clearsight and Sunstreak? (Which would be a lot of incest like geez.) I sort of agree and disagree, HiveWings have traits not exhibited in either NightWings or SilkWings. (Like mind control or simple features in their appearance.) I recall a HiveWing mentioning how they used to have antennae which is strange, it could encourage the fact that NightWing blood could've gotten rid of that trait. (Or further prove HiveWings are the result of NightWings and SilkWings.) I'm not really sure, I just believe that the HiveWings probably lied and deceived the other tribes by saying maybe that they all have some black proves they're related to Clearsight. Heck, I mean, it's probable that every tribe is related to Clearsight due to cross breeding.

Also about the book, I believe she could look past her lifetime, but not far enough. She did have a vague mention of something to do with the trees, and wanted them to be protected, but it was so distant that she couldn't figure it out properly. (Like two thousand years distant.) The HiveWings went against her word to protect the trees and demolished them all, they lied about the book's power right? They didn't disclose the fact that it didn't go far at all into the future, they let the SilkWings believe they had all the power because the book foretold pretty much anything in the future, which was a lie. They probably used that idea to encourage the SilkWings to bow down to them, but the LeafWings didn't want to obviously, so they fought back and inevitably had to retreat to some other place. I remember how they wanted more land or something, maybe the HiveWings were already testing them and pushing them back? Or it was another lie to make them seem aggressive?
