I actually made a speedpaint for this what the heck:

So hybrid hell story stuff

Spearmint basically ends up being the one to take the animus curse (originally they weren't going to kill the new IceWing princess they got to inherit the curse for them, but Spearmint kinda just.... killed that... Not that Muck was even against it at all, but Halo sure was off-put)

But then Spearmint put curses on Muck and Halo (and another hybrid they had join their group later) and before they could do anything, he created their 'prophecy,' setting the three moons of Pyrhhia to collide on a certain date in the future - and the only dragons who could see or stop this prophecy would be hybrids.

And then he just killed himself, right in front of them, leaving the curse to inherit his closest female relative alive (which might be Glaze if you remember her from another story dump I did a while ago. Turns out she's his younger half-sister)

Spearmint miiight have done some other curse stuff too

The hybrid helping organization pretty much fell apart after that, and Muck and Halo went into hiding for the most part.

Muck hasn't given up on this prophecy though. Hopefully I'll have another image to dump some more story on him (and Essence, the tribrid, who becomes his adopted daughter - dun dun dun)
