Description
Catrynne and Aoife entertain the children of the orphanage on a sunny afternoon.
While Catrynne tells a whimsical story of magic and music, Aoife spins the tale of an epic monster-slaying quest.
A collab with VioletShamrocks ! She did the character lineart, flats, shading, sketches for Cat, and refined
my sketch of Aoife and the orphans on Aoife's side. I did the background, sfx,
a partial sketch for Aoife + her orphans, and final touch-ups for the image.
I really enjoyed working on this piece overall! Big thanks as always to Violet for her beautiful (brain scratching) character work.

Violet made some really cute dialogue bubbles showing the stories Cat and Aoife were telling, but we both agreed that we couldn't make them fit. They're still really cute, though, so you can check out this piece with the original dialogue bubbles here !
