She shuffled her wings, the bandaging loosening up a bit as she did so. Heart smiled, "hey, it's alright; we Aces aren't natural, either. He's just stuck up." Keme shook her head, "no, he's right; I don't belong here. I'm indigo, these marking of mine glow, I have a huge fang, red eyes, and BAT wings! That's so much more than a heart on the chest or pink eyes." Heart sighed, "well... just remember; I saved your life, so you owe me something in return." He spun around in front of her, and Keme almost ran into him. "Be happy, for me? I'm not the only one who likes you; Spade even does. Remember how he was so hostile? That's just how he is around people he likes; he'll have nightmares about you soon; just like the rest of us." Keme stared at him, "nightmares?" He nodded, looking away, "being linked so closely, we have dreams about our family mostly, but others are linked in. Typically the nightmares are of us hurting the ones we love, but at other times they're the other way around." Keme looked away, "I'm sorry; here I am talking about how I hate myself for how I look, when you have to deal with that." Heart chuckled, "oh, no, it's fine; we're quite used to it! And, believe it or not, Spade is the youngest of us and has more problems; he's more freaked out. So, if you wake up with him in your bed; nothing happened; he just needs to sleep next to someone. And we aren't allowed to sleep with him, because our links will cause more rigorous terrors." Keme looked down, "I'm very sorry."
