Attempting to harness lightning as a green energy source, Angus McConnel was on the brink of a breakthrough at Edinburgh University. That was until his research partner sabotaged his prototype generator, causing it to electrocute him during one of the tests. As his body constricted in pain, his flesh burning and cracking from the raw energy now flowing through it, amidst his own screams Angus herd a voice, a low rasping tone, almost indistinguishable from the lighting arcs all around him.

“You do not know it yet” it wheezed above the noise
“But you have been betrayed”
“I know something that will help you, save you”

His flesh restored, Angus now goes by the name of Sentius the Storm and wields the powers of the raging sky. Lightning, wind and the heavens themselves bend to his will, all turned to one purpose. Finding the man who stole his life.
