really an awesome point you've put forward in both your work and the description about all the sentiments back in Eregion - for so long we've been adapted to the thinking pattern that's almost always on the Eldar's side, ignoring the possibility of darkness having its judgement as well. maybe Mairon did fall a little bit for Tyelpe - maybe the anguish and fury also came across his heart when he finds out that the Three were forged as an implication of Celebrimbor's mistrust and an ambition outgrowing his, and maybe, the fact that Mairon took Tyelpe's life does not necessarily mean that he had stopped thinking about him, to the extent he's able to. also the last line broke my heart - the only string still holding on to the innocence, joy and beauty that is left for 'Mairon' was no more when the last person he's ever loved and devoted to faded forever. i know it sounded too much fangirl-interpreted, but anyway, great picture and perfect idea that saved my day!\(^V^)/ hope that my shitty cinglish had made my self clear_(:3_Z)
