I call Hoke towards me, "Here girl," the canine creature snarled at the Domestic Avis and stepped towards it, causing the new creature to arch his back in defense, "HOKE!" I called in a harsher tone. This time she listened and came to my side. I patted her head and she lay on the grass as I walked toward the avis, slowly. He furled higher and spread his wings as a way to look bigger and hopefully scare me off. I stopped my advance and instead tried to lure him to me. I reached into my bag and pulled out some jerky. Hoke wagged her tail and I gave her a stern look. It was not for her, and she grumbled as she lay her head down. I held my hand out to him with the jerky in my hand. Instantly, his tone softened and he ventured closer. He stepped closer, his mane and wings still raised until he was inches from my fingers. He close his wings, which startled me, causing me to flinch and drop his bait. He took it and gobbled it up. Then his eyes softened, and he rubbed up to my fingers. It was then I noticed his unique markings, "I have heard Cao call these warrior markings, and your attitude certainly fits the bill, so how does Krieger sound?" He croned and I knew he liked it. Hoke slunk closer, and Krieger hopped on her back to investigate. I knew their would be no problem with these two.
