hmm Fallen Or maybe this bird is that of the Kill Dears, Kill Dear birds build thier nests on the ground on like most birds and choose to do it in wide feilds. Why they do it, its so predators after the eggs/ young have a eiser chance seeing the parent instead of the eggs low to the ground. The Kill Dear will run from the nest then act like it has fallen while tweeting a loud Comotion to get the attention of the predator, it even will flap its wing like its litrily hurt/stuck. As the predator gets close it gets up and runs again (they have AMAZING speed with thier feet), and if the predator Gets TOO close the bird simply flies away and lands farther and tweets again. After the Predator is FAR from the nest it flies off leaving the hunter as the fooled one, and the mother returns to her nest to watch over her young.
