If you download this, please comment. I'll try to reply to as many as I can.This will show whatever song you have playing in iTunes on an around-actual-size iPod. There are two skins to choose from (Classic Black and 5g White). The prev, next, and play/pause buttons are all functional. The menu button maximizes iTunes.
Hover over the progress bar to change the song's volume, and click the current song's album art for a large AA display.
UPDATE (6/22/10): Album Art reflections added. The Classic Black skin now has a "3D" album art variant, but it's not perfect.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Extract the rar, then put the "iPod Skin" folder into your Rainmeter Skins folder. After that, restart Rainmeter, right click your Rainmeter tray icon, select "Configs", find the folder, and select your skin of choice. It should appear on your desktop, and you'll be able to position it however you want.

This skin is heavily edited from the default iTunes player from Enigma, created by Kaelri.LCD@gmail.com.
The "time remaining" code was written by Varelse over at the Rainmeter forums. Thank you for that.
The iPod belongs to Apple. I didn't invent it myself. Derp.

I agree with the apple quote, " because the iPod is the only good thing Apple ever made." I mostly use winamp. Can you make this for winamp? I downloaded this just because of the coolness factor, but I no longer use iTunes (it blows).

This would be a cool feature to consider but not necessarily do: What if you could make it so the iPod is "turned off" or hidden, until iTunes starts up?
I'm an amateur at the coding so I don't know if it is possible or not, but if it is, you may as well have fun playing with this. I am downloading this right now, thanks so much.

The new version that I just uploaded has a 3g Nano version, which is a bit smaller (same width, though). If you want any smaller than that, you'll have to manually resize a background of your choice, then adjust the H/W/X/Y values accordingly in the appropriate .ini file.
I'll consider making a smaller version, since I think it's a little big as well. But that won't be for awhile, if at all.

It doesn't actually contain any songs. It just shows whatever is currently playing in iTunes. If iTunes isn't open, it will be useless.

Guys, this works absolutely wonderfully if you set the update rate to 100. If only that didn't bring the CPU usage way up :C
