Ray Phosperson is the Sun of the Patchwork World, and husband of Kres the Moon. Ray is a talkative, friendly chap whose main duties are to provide the World's light, heat and to keep the days and nights on schedule. Though he seems very laid back (often found snoozing on the job) and a bit of a slob, Ray is very adept at mechanics and mathematics and is an expert on all things to do with Sun maintenance.
