Out of boredom, I came up with this.

This is for widescreen monitors/LCD's, 1680x1050.

I have been using Linux off and on since I picked up a book about Red Hat 5.1 while living in Sweden during '98-'99. Slackware has been my distro of choice since 8 came out sometime in late 2001. I have used some other distros since then but they only stay on my PC less than 96 hours.

Most, not all other distros remind me too much about M$. They assume that the user does not know how to maintain their own systems and push all kinds of ridiculous updates that in some cases "break" something that was previously working.

Slackware does have a learning curve and I am still learning each day. I tell people if they want to learn Linux, use Slackware. If they use most other distros, they'll learn a little Linux but not be as proficient/efficient as they could be by using Slackware.

I now use Slackware ONLY on my PC's/Laptops........no M$ or any other bloatware.
