This is a carving I did inspired by ~PixelTribe's cartoon I just thought it would be a fun carving.He is carved out of basswood and is 8" tall and 2.5"wide and 2" deep.let me know what ya think..........Related content

is that you????where do i get basswood?i carve cause i always have to have my hands bizzy and i love to do it i found a stick and carved a skull and wings ill post it when im done, soon.

No it's Gene Messer I think he lives in Texas,You can get basswood from Heinecke wood in wisconsin[link] they have the best basswood.Right on!, thats how I started out just by picking up peices of wood and whitteling away on it. Keep me posted I'd like to see it!

Ok...I must sound like a geek/creeper now...but this reminds me of a video game. I don't remember if it was Spyro or Gex...but there were flowers and they would whack you with huge hammers if you got too close.
