Description --:This story contains: Flattening:--

Jax fiddles with his thumbs, lightly tapping them impatiently. He rustles through his black trouser pockets. He had finished all the work that had been put out for his Biology lesson. The clock ticks at the speed of a sloth, edging ever so closer to the most important time of the day... RIIIING! Jax rockets out of his chair and darts towards the door, his black blazer acting as a cape as the wind makes way for him. He runs like the flash out the door. Jax eagerly runs towards his locker. Number 909, how could he ever forget? He firmly grasps the PE kit that was locked inside and closes the locker. He readies his sonic speed again, but before he could, another biology class had just exited, flooding the hallway with students. He notices a little pink flower in one of the head of the students, before he knew exactly who it was, the pink flowered girl jumps almost on top of Jax.
"Jesus, Sophia. If you came at me at any more force you would have crushed me!" Jax exclaims.
"Sorry, let's walk home together" Sophia replies, brushing her black blazer and skirt followed by blushing. The two squeeze past the horde of students and eventually get themselves off the school grounds. Sophia's long brunette hair waved in wind like magic, and her blue eyes twinkled from the reflection of the sun. Jax sweats vigorously.
"How the hell are you so cool? It's the Sahara desert out here!" Jax points out.
"After that holiday in Egypt? This is a winter." She replies in a chirpy voice. Jax had to admit, it was a glorious summer day. Impeccable for British standards. Sophia ran ahead slightly with her arms loosely held behind her back. Jax blushed as she watched Sophia enjoy the sunlight. "This simple walk home couldn't be going better" Jax thought to himself.

The breeze lay constant and sun breathed its rays upon the Earth. Jax and Sophia walked along a row of apartment buildings. Jax thoughtfully looked at Sophia. He knew he had feelings for her, but he also had feelings for other girls. His mind felt so perplexed, as to be expected at this age. Sophia halts almost like a soldier in training and turns towards Jax.
"Well, it was nice walking with you!" She said upon Jax, with a huge smile across her face.
"Yeah, it was super cool" Jax replies, with his somewhat curly hair sticking to him like glue and his eyes somewhat uncertain where they're supposed to be. Sophia enters the apartment doors and Jax walks on towards his home. "Man" Jax thought to himself, "I wish I could just tell her how I feel. Emotions suck!" Jax continues to walk along the side of the buildings. He rambles in his mind about himself when suddenly that all ceases when he is suddenly knocked on the head by a heavy object.
"Why! What the hell was that!?" He shouts, rubbing his head. He darts his eyes towards the ground, where a book lay. He squints his eyes to read what was on the title of the book "The Crush Book" it illustrated in giant stone textured lettering.
"Huh, what a lame name for a book" he pondered, though he picked the book up and continued to walk ahead. He looked up incase someone had dropped it, but no window in the apartment was open. Jax loved to read books so he took his opportunity to add to his collection. He reaches his house, shouts for his mother and sister of his safe return home from school and dashes upstairs. He jumps onto he bed, sits crossed legged with the book infront of him. He was curious what the story of this book was. He opened it up and...! Nothing. Blank. Zero. Zilch. Jax couldn't believe his eyes. All these pages and they were all empty! He notices a little note in the top left that reads in smushed handwriting "Exactly what the title implies" Then Jax knew exactly what it was.
"It's a book for writing who you have a crush on! Well, it's no novel, but whilst it's on my mind..."
He rummages his left blazer pocket for a pencil, and writes Sophia's full name out "Sophia Flaterang". Jax continues to write about Sophia and gets carried away until his mum calls him for dinner. He speeds down and back up the stairs with a hot plate full of gorgeous food. Peas, Chips, Sausages. Jax's favourite. He realises he made an extra detail about Sophia he realises he doesn't want in this book. He grabs a rubber and rubs the page, and keeps rubbing. Rubbing. The pencil marking is still there. It's as if the pencil marking was engraved in the book. He decided to forget about it and put the book away. It was valentines day tomorrow and Jax knew it had to be the day to ask Sophia out on a date. The book hid under Jax's bed, glowing weakly as if some magic had just occurred. Jax spends the rest of the evening playing video games and completing homework before going to sleep.

The sun was weak as it rose upon the horizon. Jax was awake in the meer moment the alarm was screaming. He smashes his hand against the alarm and jumps out of bed. Today was the day! After school, he would tell Sophia exactly how he felt about her, double or nothing. He changes into his uniform; he had to look good in his uniform today. He brushes his teeth until bristles on the toothbrush starting to scratch off and puts on his shoes, ready for a great day. He waves goodbye to his mother and sister and departs for school, 10 minutes earlier than usual. Throughout the school were eager classmates passing letters to each other. Jax had received 5 off other people, but had not actually opened any of them yet, none were by Sophia. It didn't matter, he was still determined that after today, his life would be perfect. Most of the day was awfully generic for Jax. English language first, PE second, Maths 3rd, Biology 4th and Jax waits eagerly once again this time in Physics, his final fifth lesson. The clock hits 3:20 and Jax is out of there faster than the speed of light. He told to Sophia to meet him at the bench in the field at 3:25. He sits patiently on the bench. 3:24.
"Any minute now" he speaks to himself, he carefully scans the crowd of students drain out the exit of the school. Jax analysis that more people than usual were holding hands, as was to be expecting after today. 3:25.
"Any second now" Jax tells himself. A single sweat drop trails down his cheek. The summer air was cool and the temperature was perfect. Not too hot nor cold. 4:26. Jax worries and imagines every bad outcome in his head.
"What if she doesn't care?" "What if she hates me?" "What if someone else asked her out!?" Jax mind is exploding, when he notices a familiar pink flower in the distance, coming closer towards Jax. Jax's heart beats a thousand times a second. Sophia had something in her hands. Jax contemplates what it could be. It looked like a letter. This was the moment.

Meanwhile, the book under Jax's bed was glowing much more powerfully than before. It was shaking in place uncontrollably. A streaming bright light of Purple pierced through the book. Back at school, Jax looked at Sophia. Sophia looked at Jax. Sophia had been holding a letter with a little heart on it to hold its content. Both of them smile at each other and blush uncontrollably. Jax heard some rumbling in the distance, but was completely lost in the moment as he stared deep into Sophia my blue eyes. In the distance, Brad was in a monster truck with his Dad, who had noticed something off with his ride. Brad was the guy always Into extreme cars and such. His dad goes down to check what was up, when suddenly one of the giant wheels take too much pressure from the truck and flies off, towards Jax and Sophia's location. Sophia looks down towards her letter. Then back up at Jax. She finally speaks:
"Jax...I want to-" that's the only words she got out of her mouth before the behemoth of a wheel suddenly hits her and Jax breaks eye contact with her and is only looking at the sky. Jax is confused and wondered where she went. He looks to his left, and notices a giant wheel rolling across the field with no sign of Sophia. He realises Sophia must have been hit by that tire. He quickly jumps into action and chases that wheel. Running as fast as Usain Bolt to catch up. The wheel finally finally slows down near the end of the field. Jax catches his breath and grabs hold of the wheel. It felt softer to grab than usual, and with no sign of Sophia. He looks up where he had held the wheel and there lay Sophia, flat as paper. He had grabbed her leg. He quickly snaps his hand back, freaked out. He holds his body back in shock for several moments. He pokes the flat Sophia again. "There was no way that could be her!" He exclaims in his mind. ...but where else would she be? He rolls the wheel to see her entire body spread out and flat across the wheel. A shocked expression plastered to her face.

Jax grabs Sophia's head and peels her off the monster truck wheel. SHHHHLLP! Β Her body waves pathetically in the air, unable to do anything in this 2D state. Jax was still in shock. This couldn't be real, it was like cartoons in real life! He notices something else stuck to the wheel. The letter that Sophia was holding. He drops Sophia's flat body and it gently floats to the grass below. He opens up the letter, virtually unharmed. He read the letter and blushed uncontrollably, whilst trying to hold in a laugh. "To Jax" he reads aloud. "I hope you feel the same way I do. I've never had a crush like this before. Be mine?" Jax rapidly drops the letter, and picks up Sophia, quickly hugging her. She crumples like paper, but she noticeably blushes hard. It appears that even with her surprised expression stuck to her face and her body very limp, she was still aware of what was happening. Jax notices this and hugs her harder, crumpling her crushed body even more. Jax puts Sophia around his neck like a scarf, and starts walking home as Brad's dad comes to take back his tire. Sophia had gone from barely touching Jax with a high five to literally hugging him around the neck with her entire body, with part of her legs and head dangling in the wind. Her blush was beyond real and her eyes portrayed pure bliss. Jax felt exactly the same way. Jax walks the way home he usually does. A Sophia scarf dangling around him helplessly. This evening had not gone like anyone had expected, but it went better for both of them, in a way.

Jax walked alongside the apartment buildings and eventually reached Sophia's apartment. He goes to let go of her but Sophia looked at Jax. They both knew Sophia couldn't live on her own like this. She wouldn't even be able to open the door! Jax contemplates whilst the paper thin Sophia wafts in the air gently.
"Y-you can stay at mine until I can solve this." He stutters. Sophia smiled. It appeared that she had full control of her face, but that was about it. Jax walked to his home, where he opened the door and quickly ran upstairs to not be seen. He dives onto his bed and lays Sophia across his lap. He just stares at her. She stares at him. Neither of them know what to do in this situation. Before Jax could do anything, the door opened abruptly and his mother walked in. Jax froze. His mother looked down at Sophia and smiled.
"Oh, you found yourself a poster! That's sweet son. You best get hanging it up. Anyway, you seemed to rush upstairs today, what's up?" The mother ensued.
Jax was still in disbelief. "Uuh, I just was so happy to return home today!" He replies in a nervous tone.
"Oh ok, well dinner will be ready in an hour or so." And with that, she exits the room. Jax couldn't believe that she thought Sophia was a poster! Her face was clearly moving. Jax didn't know what to do with her new 2D girlfriend. He actually grabs some tape and hangs her up next to his bed, just like a poster. Only the top of her head though. Jax opens the window as it was getting warmer, and spent the rest of the night doing homework and playing video games. He tried to get Sophia to join in, but her fingers were pathetically flat and unusable. Jax went to sleep with Sophia slightly waving around above him due to the wind. Jax feels lucky that Sophia was flat though, as if she wasn't, he would have to look up her skirt all night. She was so thin there was no space to see so Jax could get to sleep comfortably. Sophia looks towards the sleeping Jax and bites her lip. She'd never been sleeping next to Jax, and here she was, almost showing her panties to him. Sadly her body was so thin she couldn't she thought to herself. Both of them set to sleep, knowing that tomorrow wasn't going to be an easy day.

I wonder if they ever got her back to her 3D shape Also, I know that you’re probably not interested anymore, but are we still doing the RP?
