Description A simpler design, i did this because some of my firends kept noting how expensive and difficult my tat's would be. I dont think this one is too bad. I drew half of it on a small piece of paper during history class and then copied it as accuratley as possible by mouse (actually did it fairly accuratly). It took about an hour, maybe a little bit longer. This is more of a upper back, or lower belly tat, so yeah. Just finished it, kinda tired. Enjoy.

Firstly, cheers for the message on my page!

This is possibly my favourite pieces of yours. You've asked for feedback, so here goes. This will go for most of your pieces.

Something I've been told before; complexity and fine lines are bad when considering real tattoos. fine lines look messy over time, and both make things make it more expensive. for now i say keep going with complexity, it gives you more scope to experiment

Try and avoid using too many reflections in your designs, unless you want things to look like fractals. just one reflection, left to right, works best. here it looks like you've used four. i like this one as it looks a bit less like you've repeated the same pattern over and over.

Also, try and avoid overlapping your designs, i think it makes things look messy. here it is obvious that you've taken a design and flipped it, and the reflection is on top of the original. and then you've done it again.

the way i do things is often to start drawing randomly. then i decide where the 'mirror' will be, and then expand the design until it fits into a shape that will work when mirrored about that bit. make sense?

you've got the symmetry right in your most recent few. i'd also suggest using fewer colours - for these type of things, 2 at most. and using it sparingly will give a bigger impact.

keep experimenting, you'll work it out...

Oh so cool!
A little bit complicated, the white areas are a tiny bit distracting, but I like it.

I like contrast in my tats, see if shit doesnt stick out or catch your eye, then all it is really is a ink blot, most of the time anyway. Thanx alot man!

If your going for contrast I'd try a semi-bright color, like a green or a red to make it Really pop. drag your eye in all kinds of directions.
Your welcome

I will definatly consider that. Great thing about flash is i can color line and changes fill ins at will. So I will definatly experiment with that.

Flash? Oh how I envy. theres something wrong with my comp that won't let me install it. I can download it...I can copy it from a disk...but I can't use it.*sigh*
Show me what you've got when you've got the color in. I'd love to see it.
